Understand Ask Maaya permission boundaries

Know why two people can receive different answers about the same Event.

Ask Maaya can use only the Events, modules, and records the signed-in person is allowed to access.

Event scope

Opening Ask Maaya inside an Event makes that Event the default subject. Ask Maaya cannot use another Event unless you can access it.

Module scope

Restricted modules are removed before totals, patterns, or answers are calculated. A Viewer, Editor, Co-Owner, Owner, and restricted Pro member can receive different answers because their effective access differs.

Sensitive operations

The model and browser never grant authority. A proposed change is checked again by the API when you confirm it. If your role cannot perform the action, the proposal cannot bypass that rule.

Ask Maaya does not reveal that hidden data exists when you are not allowed to see it.
