Troubleshooting
Fix billing and payment problems
Checkout was closed
Closing Stripe Checkout does not activate or cancel the purchase. Reopen the Event or Organization billing action. Maaya may safely resume the existing Checkout.
Payment completed but access is not active
Keep the verification state open when possible. Maaya waits for server-authoritative payment records and never activates a package from the browser return alone.
If verification remains delayed, keep the Checkout or payment reference and contact Maaya. Do not pay a second time unless the earlier Checkout is clearly failed or expired.
The Pro purchase action is missing
Only the Organization Owner can start Pro Checkout. Confirm that you are signed in as the Owner, then open Account > Plan & billing. Contact Maaya if the purchase action is still missing.
The Headliner action is missing
Only an eligible Event Owner or Co-Owner receives the purchase action. Check the Event role, capacity, and current rollout availability.
Stripe connected-account setup did not start
Open Account > Payments & payouts and select Connect Stripe again. A failed Maaya request does not necessarily mean Stripe failed to create the account. Retrying safely resumes the organizer setup path.
If the problem continues, contact Maaya Support with the time of the attempt and the account email. Do not send identity documents, bank details, passwords, or Stripe credentials.
Stripe says the account is restricted
A newly created connected account can remain restricted until the organizer finishes required business, identity, bank, ownership, support, or terms information. Open Payments & payouts, continue in Stripe, then refresh the status after completing the requirements.
