Guests, invitations, and RSVP overview

Manage Guest parties, private invitations, public responses, capacity, waitlists, and arrivals.

Guests and RSVP uses one Event-wide Guest list for private invitations, public registration, Public RSVP, capacity, waitlists, reminders, and arrivals.

Choose how people respond

  • Private invitations identify a specific Guest party.
  • Public registration records an attending registration.
  • Public RSVP lets the respondent choose Attending, Maybe, or Unable to attend.
  • Ticketing is better when you need QR admission, inventory classes, transfers, or scanner validation.

Party size and capacity

Each private invitation has a maximum party size. Public RSVP and registration can allow parties up to 20. Attending parties use capacity. Maybe and waitlisted parties do not.

Invitation delivery

Adding a Guest with an email while private RSVP is active queues the invitation automatically. A failed email does not change the Guest or grant access. You can resend without invalidating a previously delivered response link.
