Tickets and registration overview

Use free or paid Ticket inventory, Orders, credentials, transfers, and QR check-in.

Ticketing manages admission inventory and QR credentials. Free Ticketing is available with Maaya Free and Headliner. Paid organizer Ticket sales require Headliner.

Use registration or RSVP instead when

Choose public registration for a simple attendee list without Ticket credentials. Choose Public RSVP when people need Attending, Maybe, or Unable to attend responses.

Use Ticketing when

You need inventory classes, Orders, attendee details, QR admission, transfers, or scanner validation.

Paid Tickets require an eligible Headliner Event. Maaya shows its platform fee and estimated Stripe processing separately.

The organizer can connect Stripe in advance from Account > Payments & payouts or follow the setup path when creating paid Tickets. One ready connected account can support eligible Headliner Events the organizer owns. Each Event still needs its own location, tax handling, Ticketing configuration, terms acceptance, and publication readiness.
