Control Event permissions

Maaya Pro permissions are explicit. A member's effective access is the intersection of several controls, not the broadest permission found.

Review the permission layers #

1. Organization role controls Organization authority.
2. Reusable role controls module-level view and edit access.
3. Event assignment selects which Event the member may open.
4. Event override can narrow the reusable role for one Event.
5. Event package controls whether the capability exists.

Use a narrower override #

Open the member's Event assignment and reduce the permission families that should apply to that Event. An override cannot grant more than the reusable role.
