Understand Organization roles

Compare Owner, Admin, Member, and reusable operational roles.

Organization roles control authority across the Maaya Pro workspace. Reusable operational roles control what a Member can do inside assigned Events.

Owner

The Owner controls Organization identity, billing, team access, custom roles, Templates, Contacts, Portfolio Insights, and Organization deletion. Only the Owner can start Pro Checkout or open the billing portal.

Admin

An Admin manages the team, roles, Event assignments, Templates, Contacts, and Portfolio Insights. An Admin does not receive Organization ownership or restricted billing authority.

Member

A Member sees only explicitly assigned Events and the capabilities allowed by the selected operational role.

Reusable operational roles

Maaya includes Event Administrator, Event Editor, and Event Viewer roles. Owners and Admins can create additional roles across permission families. A per-Event override can narrow access, but it cannot expand the reusable role.
