Understand Events and Organizations

An Event is the workspace for one event. An Organization is the reusable operating layer for a team that runs multiple Events.

What belongs to an Event #

Event details, Tasks, Guests, RSVP responses, Tickets, Volunteers, staffing, Vendors, communications, websites, Event-day activity, and Reports stay with the Event.

Event roles are also Event-specific. A person can own one Event, edit another, and view a third.

What belongs to an Organization #

With Maaya Pro, the Organization owns persistent team membership, reusable roles, Event assignments, Templates, shared Contacts, Portfolio Insights, and the Pro subscription.

Joining an Organization does not grant access to every Event. An Owner or Admin must explicitly assign the member to each Event.

Headliner still belongs to the Event #

Headliner is purchased for one Event. An Organization can have Free and Headliner Events at the same time.
